Boom Lift with Operator
Certified Manlift Operators Available in Dubai, Sharjah & Ajman
Rent a Boom Lift with a Trained Operator
Not every project has a certified boom lift operator on the team — and that's where we come in. Platform Access Equipment Rental LLC supplies fully trained, certified boom lift operators together with our rental equipment, so your project can start on day one without scrambling to find a qualified driver.
Our operators are experienced across our full fleet — from the compact 16-meter telescopic unit to the 26-meter articulated boom. They understand UAE workplace safety standards, know how to conduct proper pre-use inspections, and are familiar with the ground conditions, access requirements, and permit procedures typical of Dubai, Sharjah, and Ajman job sites.
Why Hire an Operator With Your Boom Lift?
Some clients hire operators because their site crew isn't certified. Others do it to reduce risk, save time, or avoid the liability of putting an untrained person in a platform 20 meters off the ground. Common reasons include:
- Safety compliance — UAE regulations and most major project safety plans require that boom lift operators hold valid training certificates. An uncertified operator can fail a site inspection and halt work.
- Efficiency — an experienced operator completes tasks faster. They know how to position the machine optimally and move it safely between work zones.
- Reduced machine damage — incorrect operation is the leading cause of boom lift damage. Our operators know the equipment intimately and minimise wear, tyre damage, and accidental collisions.
- Insurance and liability — incidents involving uncertified operators can complicate insurance claims. Having a certified operator on the machine protects the site's main contractor from liability exposure.
- Short-term project flexibility — for one-day or one-week jobs, hiring an operator is faster than training or certifying your own staff.
What Our Operators Bring to the Site
Every operator we supply is trained on the specific boom lift model they operate, holds current certification, and comes with full safety equipment (hard hat, harness, high-visibility vest, safety footwear). They conduct a pre-use inspection before every shift and maintain a daily log of machine usage.
Common Projects Using Our Boom Lift + Operator Service
- Construction sites — contractors who need short-term access solutions without certifying their own staff
- Facility maintenance — factories, warehouses, and commercial buildings that need periodic high-level work done safely
- Facade work — cleaning, painting, and repair work on commercial towers
- Signage installation — signage companies that need the lift but not a permanent in-house operator
- Event setup — rigging and lighting installation at venues where operators only work for the setup period
- Emergency repairs — unplanned work where you need everything — machine, operator, and fast mobilisation — in one call
- One-off inspections — structural surveys, insurance assessments, and condition reports at height

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you provide boom lifts with operators in Dubai?
Yes. We provide certified, trained boom lift operators with every rental unit on request. Operators are experienced with all boom lift sizes in our fleet from 16m to 26m and familiar with UAE site conditions and safety requirements.
Are your boom lift operators certified?
Yes. All our boom lift operators are fully trained and certified for the equipment they operate. They understand UAE workplace safety standards, proper pre-use inspections, and safe operation procedures.
Who is responsible for operator accommodation and transport?
Operator transportation and accommodation are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise agreed in the rental contract. For short-term rentals within Dubai, this is typically straightforward. For projects in Sharjah or Ajman or longer durations, we can discuss arrangements in advance.
How long is an operator's working day?
Operator working hours follow UAE labour standards: 10 hours per day including a one-hour break, 6 days per week. Any work exceeding these hours is charged as overtime on a pro-rata basis. Night work is 8 hours without break.
Can I rent just the operator separately?
No. Operators are only supplied together with our boom lift rentals. We do not provide operators for boom lifts hired from other rental companies.
Does having an operator cost extra?
Yes, operator hire is charged in addition to the boom lift rental rate. The exact cost depends on the rental duration and project location. Call us for a specific quote that includes equipment and operator combined.
